CPX Sports of Joliet, Illinois has teamed up with DXS/DraXxuS and Smart Parts to produce a 24-hr Paintball Scenario Game & Industry Reunion, honoring the "Living Legends" of Paintball on April 5-6, 2008 at one of the world's most theatrically intense Paintball parks, the remarkable CPX Sports in Joliet, IL. The game, powered by DXS/DraXxuS paintballs, will pit DXS/DraXxuS Senior VP Craig Miller as General of the DXS "Old Skool" team, versus Sean Scott of Smart Parts/Smart Corps fame as General of the opposing "New Skool" side.

The Xtreme Paintball League is pleased to announce that beginning Monday February 4 the AXBL and CXBL will be releasing the official 2008 jersey designs. Creating what is becoming a hallmark in paintball league professionalism, the AXBL and CXBL provide official league jerseys to all of its franchises as part of their franchise fee. NPPL Introduces Discount Program
Registration for the 2008 NPPL Huntington Beach event, which will be held on the beach March 28 - 30, will open Monday, February 4th. For the second consecutive season, the NPPL will not be raising team entry fees.

Tippmann Sports recently announced that the company will be standing behind its legendary Tippmann branded paintball markers with a new, industry leading two-year warranty. The first-of-its kind warranty, which will be prominently highlighted on all product packaging as well as the company's print advertisements and website, officially went into effect on January 1, 2008. There will also be a grace period to cover those players who purchased a new Tippmann marker in late 2007.

Feb. 16th and 17th
The Training course will be taught by a Certified Trainer of the NPPL PRO. This dynamic course covers the art of officiating sanctioned NPPL events. Referees will gain knowledge on safety, positioning rules, making decisive calls, paintball equipment and general guidelines for refereeing national tournaments. The course will be classroom, field and actual game scenarios.

The CFOA, the world's largest five-man tournament series, is rapidly preparing for the 2008 season! Again offering the two most popular formats in competitive paintball, center flag five-man and XBall, the CFOA will host thirteen events spread across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee throughout the new year.
While the number of events, states visited and formats offered will remain the same moving into the new CFOA season, 2008 will also be a year of change for the league. The highest level of competition ever offered by the series, the "Amateur" division, will return after a two-year hiatus offering division 1 and division 2 players a home in the CFOA again. More information on the highly exclusive, returning division is available from the CFOA management.
